Ottawa, capital of French Ontario

With the founding of the Association canadienne-française d’éducation d’Ontario, the Franco-Ontarian community finally has a political apparatus that can govern it internally, with the capacity to negotiate its place in the wider community. The capital of this “government,” indisputably, is Ottawa.

The official inauguration of the new Maison franco-ontarienne, built by the Association canadienne-française d'éducation d'Ontario (ACFÉO), on Boteler Street.
